The WyoCarnage Team's Home - Sweetwater Speedway
Where Speed Meets the Wild West
Nestled in the heart of Sweetwater County, Sweetwater Speedway has been the home of adrenaline-pumping dirt track racing since the 1970s. Built as part of the Sweetwater Events Complex, this high-banked oval has seen decades of intense battles, legendary racers, and unforgettable moments. Over the years, various organizations and promoters have kept the racing spirit alive, ensuring that the roar of engines never fades from Wyoming's racing scene.
"But this isn't just any dirt track—Sweetwater Speedway is where horsepower meets the high plains, where the dust flies under the big Wyoming sky, and where only the toughest can claim victory."
In 2015, the Sweetwater Dirt Track Racing Alliance was formed as a non-profit organization, bringing together a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to keeping dirt track racing thriving in Southwest Wyoming. Their hard work and commitment have transformed Sweetwater Speedway into a must-visit destination for drivers and fans alike.
The wide, racy surface creates side-by-side battles and edge-of-your-seat action from green flag to checkers.
